COPPER

COPPERIts high electrical and thermal conductivity characteristics make copper an indispensable material for power plants and conductive materials.

Copper has great usage areas in cold air machinery and equipment, transportation vehicles and exterior coatings due to its stainless feature. In addition, copper has an important place in welding works, metallurgy and bronze production, and it also has many other usage areas.

Its widest usage areas respectively are; facilities related to electricity generation and transmission, construction, transportation machinery and equipment. Ten years ago, the need for copper was not seen as important at all and many substitutes were put forward that could be used instead of copper.

Materials such as aluminum, plastic, fiber-optic were used instead of copper, but there was no decrease in the need and demand for copper, instead, there has been a continuous increase.
